Einstein's Universe and Superstrings

Einstein's Universe

Particle physicist and Alexander von Humboldt Professor Brian Foster of Hamburg University and Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron DESY in Hamburg, Germany, has teamed up with the British classical musician Jack Liebeck to create a special lecture and performance about Einstein's legacy to physics and the role music played in his life. The show is called "Einstein's Universe".

Einstein’s revolutionary ideas have shaped our modern view of the Universe and these lectures and associated violin and piano recitals present Einstein's Universe in the context of the music he loved - that of Mozart, Bach and others.
